Obituary for Jane S. Moore WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Jane S. Moore, age 85, formerly of Richmond, Indiana, died Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus. Born July 21, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Thomas J. and Jane Scott Quigg, Jane was a 1950 graduate of Kensington High School in Philadelphia.

She moved to Richmond in 1965 and lived here 50 years, before moving to Lafayette, Indiana, in 2015. Jane retired as secretary of the Earlham College Athletic Department after 26 years of service. She enjoyed reading, crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Charles (Mary) Moore of Greenwood, Indiana, Scott Moore of Richmond, and Karen (Rick) Staight of Lafayette, Indiana; grandchildren, Leah (John) Whisler, Dane (Tasha) Moore, Drew (Julia) Moore, Christie (Thunder) Grimes, and Steven Sayne Jr.; step-grandchildren, Monica and Darrin Danhauer; great-grandchildren, Tiaunna, Mikayla, Christi, Levi, Tanner, and twins, Alec and Blake Moore and a great-granddaughter on the way; step-great-grandchildren, Aireana Grimes, Madyson and Cassie Whisler, and Bryson Doughty; brother, William “Bill” Quigg of Palmyra, New Jersey; nieces; nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Moore Sr., who died July 4, 2003; parents; daughter-in-law, Sue Moore; and brothers, Joseph, Thomas, and John “Jack” Quigg. Visitation for Jane S. Moore will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Veteran’s Field of Honor in Earlham Cemetery.
