Father Bill Melancon will officiate. At the conclusion of the service interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery on Admiral Doyle Drive, Visitation will be held at Acadian Funeral Home on Saturday beginning at 9:00 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 A.M. by the Men’s Rosary Group.

Mrs. Janelle Segura was born On September 5, 1939 in Erath, LA. She passed away on Wednesday evening, December 12, 2018 at her New Iberia residence. She was a kind and loving person, and will be deeply missed.

She worked as a hot shot driver along with her husband Murphy. She loved going to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Janelle enjoyed going dancing with her children and friends.

The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice for the care provided her during her final months. The family would appreciate memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to defray expenses. Donations may be sent to the family in care of Julie Broussard.

Lot 2, in New Iberia, La 70563 Left behind to cherish her memory is her sister, Alice Martinez, her children, Timothy Segura and friend Brenda Coleman, Cynthia Segura, Karen Lohr and her husband Gregory, Julie Broussard and her husband Allen (T-Boy), Dianne Le Blanc and her husband, Dickie, Jerry Segura and wife Debbie, Faye Segura and companion Scott Anson, 17 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers include Rocky Rivers, Bryan Norwood, Michael Broussard, Jonas Leger, and Jerry, Lil-Jerry and Timmy Segura.

Acadian Funeral Home of New Iberia, is in charge of arrangements.
