Janet Lee King-Rogers lost her long battle with cancer in Houston, Texas on September 17, 2018. She was born November 29, 1956 in Conneaut, OH, and was the daughter of Harry and Dorothy Gill. She was an accomplished associate for PDG Architects.

She was a bright light in this world that changed many lives. A wonderful mother, daughter, sister, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She is survived by her son Jonathan King and his wife Katie (children Olivia and Anderson), step-daughter Lauren Ivey (children Reid and Rhett), step-son Ben Rogers (daughter Jordan), mother Dorothy Gill, brother Roger Gill and wife Connie, brother Gary Gill and wife Trudy, sister-in-law Judy Gill, and many nieces and nephews of the Gill family, as well as many members of the Rogers family.

She was preceded in death by her father Harry Gill, her brother David Gill, and her husband Robert Rogers. Funeral service will be Saturday, 1:30 PM, at the Houston North West Baptist Church. Flowers can be sent to the church, 19911 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070, and memorial donations can be made to Houston Northwest Baptist Church Disaster Relief Fund.
