John E. Gray, Jr., 76 of Conneaut, passed away Sunday September 9, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic with his family at his side. He was born July 23, 1942 in Sewickley, PA the son of John & Mae (Hurte) Gray, Sr. John enjoyed visiting family and friends, watching TV, listening to music, electronics, playing the drums and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a past youth counselor for the Conneaut Police Department.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Malin) whom he married October 27, 1961; children, Michelle (Rich Lane) Gray and Cindy (Gary) Kohlman both of Conneaut; grandchildren, Kari (JJ Petz) Case, Joseph (Katy) Osborne, Jessica (Tim) Stutzman, Heather (Matt) Tantari and Jennifer (Kevin) Wassie; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Violet Scisciani of Coraopolis, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Pearl McBride and Edith infancy. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Friday September 14, 2018 at the Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., with Fr.

Raymond Thomas presiding, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association or to the APL. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
