Obituary for Janet R. Thomas Janet R. Thomas, age 72, of Sterling Heights, passed away April 16, 2018. Janet was born in Detroit, MI and graduated from Warren High School. She enjoyed a long career of forty years with Mayco Plastics International.

Janet was married to her beloved husband, Bill, on September 5, 1964 and enjoyed fifty-three years of devoted marriage. In her spare time, Janet loved to knit and crochet. She also loved to travel around Michigan with her husband-she and Bill managed to see about twenty-five lighthouses around the state.

Janet is survived by her husband, Bill; her children, Terri (Lance) Vaden and Christopher (Kelly) Thomas; her granddaughter, Marie; her sister, Pat Kerrick, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Susan, and her brother, David. Visitation will take place Sunday, April 22, from 2 – 8 p.m. at the Wm.

Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak. Funeral service will take place Monday, April 23, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
