She was born on October 1, 1964 in Yadkin County to the late Burley and Lois Cranfill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Steven Cranfill.

Mrs. Cantrell attended Peace Haven Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by her husband Watson Cantrell, sons Josh Morawietz, Jonathan Morawietz; daughter Brittney Morawietz; 6 grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
