Janie Catherine Heath Sycamore, AL – Funeral service for Janie Catherine Heath, 92, will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., in the Radney-Smith Chapel, with Pastor Mike Owen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL. Mrs. Heath went home to be with her savior on Monday, June 25, 2018.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Riser’s Chapel Methodist Church and a former member of Sycamore United Methodist Church. Mrs. Heath always enjoyed singing in the choir, as well as, teaching Sunday School and VBS.

She also greatly enjoyed her daily bible time. Mrs. Heath was a woman that loved her family and her God with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Retired Lt.

Colonel Ollie James Heath, Sr.; parents, Morgan and Martha Parsons; sister, Lola Mae Wyatt; and her son-in-law, Nelson Liner. Mrs. Heath is survived by her son, Ollie J. Heath, Jr., wife Patti of Alpine, AL; three daughters, Martha Liner of Sycamore,AL, Janie Carter, husband Roger of Harvest, AL, and Lou Youngblood, husband Kerry of Dadeville, AL; eight grandchildren, Heath Liner, wife Tammie, Tonya Henderson, husband Mark, Jonathan Carter, Chris Heath, Christina Liner, husband Jason, Rachel Harrigar, husband Bob, Shay Youngblood, and Chase Youngblood; ten great-grandchildren, Matthew Liner, wife Rachel, Blake Liner, Chance Maddox, wife Laura, Houston Maddox, Lacy Liner, Will Henderson, Catie-Beth Henderson, Kelsey Robinson, Kristin Robinson, and Kolton Robinson; great-great-grandchild, Elizabeth Maddox; two sisters, Frances Matson of Talladega, AL and Joy Dickerson of Talladega, AL. Visitation will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Heath Liner, Chris Heath, Jonathan Carter, Shay Youngblood, Chase Youngblood, Matthew Liner, Blake Liner, and Will Henderson. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www. radneysmith.com.
