Obituary for Janine Adams Calder Janine Marie Adams Calder, 55, resident of Houma, died July 16, 2018. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorelei Calder, and mother, Nancy Carolyn Lovely Adams. She is survived by her father, Joseph Adams of Gray; sisters Beryl (John) Amedee of Gray and Jolene Adam of Saint Martinville; her husband, Michael Calder Jr; their children, Jessamyn (Timothy) Orgeron and Michael Calder III of Houma, and Joseph (Jenna) Calder of New Jersey; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28 at Samart Funeral Home, Hwy 24 in Gray, with visitation from 9 AM until service at 11 AM. Burial following at St John the Evangelist Cemetery in Thibodaux. The family would like to thank the staff of West Jefferson Medical Center for providing outstanding care throughout Janine’s courageous battle with GBM.
