Obituary for Michael L. Conklin Michael L. Conklin, 65, a native of St Charles, Michigan and resident of Houma passed away on July 4, 2018. A visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park from 1:00 PM until funeral time. A religious service will take place at the funeral home at 2:00 PM.

A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Conklin, daughter, Holly Rome and husband Ryan; son, Shawn Conklin; grandchildren, Andrew Conklin and Abigail Rome; brothers, Robert and Clifford Conklin; sisters, Louella Eck and Rebecca Tibbetts; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mildred Conklin.
