Obituary Janis Jean Price Carkhuff, 85, resident of 105 Granite Court, wife of Donald Wesley Carkhuff, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born June 23, 1933, in Nanticoke, PA, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Irene Hozlock Price. She was a graduate of Southside High School in Newark, NJ, and was formerly employed with Dr. Lipmon’s office as a medical secretary there in Newark before she and Mr. Carkhuff opened Spotswood Hobbies in Spotswood, NJ.
