Jared Lee Phillips, age 37, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11:00AM with Diane Odom officiating and his niece Caitlin Page delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View United Methodist Cemetery with Riley Fielder, Jackie Rigsby, Bobe Paetow, Steve Brock, Jeff Brock, and Cory Page serving as pallbearers.

Ricky Tomlin will serve as a honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, February 21, 2019 from 9:00AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM. Jared was born on April 3, 1981 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Norma Jean Phillips and the late David T. Phillips.

He was a floor installer and a member of Angel Hands Ministry. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by grandparents; Frazier and Beatrice Phillips and Rufus and Opal Forbes. Jared is survived by his companion, Mitzi Green; sons, Brayden and Colton Phillips; daughters, Alexis Phillips and her mother Missy Odom Robertson, and Mari Phillips; brothers, Jeremy (Amber) Phillips, Scott (Sandra) Phillips, and Reed (Kristen) Williams; sisters, Jackie (Kenneth) Jennings and Rachel Phillips; six nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.
