JARREL’s Obituary Jarrel Stancil: 83 years old of Antioch, IL passed away peacefully Tuesday May 21, 2019 at Alden Terrace of McHenry, McHenry, IL. He was born October 19, 1935 in Tennessee the son of the late Ward and Catherine Stancill, living in Chicago, IL before settling in Antioch in the late 1960s. Before his retirement, Jarrel had owned and operated J. Stancil Carpentry for over 50 years.

He was a former member of the Antioch Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #525, and enjoyed: golfing, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and boating. Survivors include: three children: Jarrel (Linda) Stancil of Mountain Home, AR, John (Donna) Stancil of Hebron, IL, and Mike Stancill of Bassett, WI; eight grandchildren: Jamie, Julie, Wendy, Jason, Jessica, Bo, Brian, and Danielle; 11 great-grandchildren; and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4PM until 8PM Tuesday May 28, 2019 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte.

83) Antioch, IL 60002. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675-8517 are appreciated in Jarrel’s memory.
