Jason Earl Evans, age 38, of Rentz, died Saturday, September 8, 2018. Mr. Evans was a truckdriver with Register Trucking and attended Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. He loved deer hunting, fishing, and racing.

Jason was a racecar driver, 441 Speedway #88, and was a huge Earnhardt Fan. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Beasley Evans, children; Chassidy Evans, Austin Evans, Dalton Evans, parents; David Ivey Evans and Jean Johnson Evans, sister; Wendy Evans Amram, brothers; Tony Johnson, Randy (Lynn) Johnson, nieces and nephews, Kara (Cameron) Barnes, Kiley Dixon, Abby Amram, Makenzie Varnam, Jasmine Reynolds, Britney Reynolds, Dylan Reynolds, Lance Sanders, Halie Johnson, Dylan Johnson, great nephews; Clayton Barnes and James Stafford, Granny Faustine Evans and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason was preceded in death by his grandfather, Algerine Evans, grandparents, B. J. Johnson and Noella Johnson, several Aunts and Uncles.

Visitation for Mr. Evans will be Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gay Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Johnson, Tony Johnson, Steve Reynolds, Wally Johnson, Kristopher Deese and Cameron Barnes.

Alvin Champion will serve as an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Mrs. Evans to help with funeral expenses.
