Funeral services for Jason Robert Bell, 32, of Etoile, will be held Friday, November 30, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Sara Burnett officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Jason was born January 16, 1986 in Moline, Illinois, the son of Robert Stewart Bell and Regena (Burnett) Bell, and died Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Lufkin.

Jason loved watching the Bears and Cubs play. He also enjoyed bowling, playing video games. Jason loved everyone he came in contact with and his dog.

He is survived by his mother, Regena Bell; father and wife, Robert and Kristin Bell; grandmother, Janet Bell; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family members. Honorary brother, Marshall Smith. Jason was preceded in death by his brothers, Edgar Franklin Bell, Kevin Bradley Bell and Jeffrey Raymond Bell.

Pallbearers will be Marshall Smith, Edward LeBlanc, Cody Johnson, Chris Henson, Jonathan Winslow, and Shawn Askey. Special memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
