JC Cook, 91 of Dallas, GA passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019. A funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 16th at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel with Rev. Ted McClung officiating.

Interment followed at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Powder Springs. JC was survived by his two daughters, Ann Whitten of Dallas and Gayle White of Dallas; step-children, Michael Johnston of Dallas and Lesia Queen of Dallas; sister, Ruth Walker and her husband, Tommy of Yorkville; brother, Wayne Cook and his wife, Frances of Dallas; brother Harold Cook and wife, Joan of Dallas; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances Brown Cook; daughter, Connie Jones; brothers, Charles Cook, Ed Cook and James Cook.

JC attended McEachern High School. He retired from the Cobb County Fire Department after 25 years of service. He also was a cattle farmer, owned his own plumbing company and was a member of Midway Presbyterian Church.
