Kathy Landrum, 80, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on February 21, 2019, in Marietta, GA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, in Powder Springs, GA. with Rev.

Johnny Foster officiating. Kathy is survived by her husband, William T. “Bill” Landrum of Powder Springs, GA; daughter, Sharon Johnson and her husband David of Marietta, GA; daughter, Nancy K. Crowe of Dallas, GA; son, Douglas Wayne Landrum (Gitty) of Hiram, GA; son, Wesley J. Landrum (Patricia) of Dallas, GA; sister, Sibyl Graham of Marietta, GA; sister, Helen Gregory of Clermont, GA; sister, Joyce Bettis of Milton, Fl. ; brother, Guy Banister of Marietta, GA; 8 grandchildren – Sean Johnson, Jesse Buckner, Justin Melton, Kayla Melton Sweat, Alicia Landrum Koval, Chad Landrum, Stephanie Landrum , Brian Landrum; 5 great-grand children – Channing Buckner, Charlie Buckner and Arabella Sweat, Peyton and Preston Hicks; great niece Amber Thompson; several nieces and nephews.

Her beloved cat, Patches, who misses her. Kathy was next to the last of 11 children born to Earnest Willie and Lydia Frances Banister. She graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1957 and was a lifelong resident of Cobb County.
