Hartselle Kent, Jean C., age 81 who was born October 12, 1937 in Morgan County, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home. She was the daughter of Robert C. and Grace Clemons. She was predeceased by her husband, J.D. Kent, and her daughter, Kathy Jean Kent.

She is survived by 3 sons, Kelly Darin Kent (Lori), Kevin Douglas Kent and Karl Dee Kent (Martha). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Leslie Hampton Stringer (Scott), Katie Hampton Waters (Will), Joshua Darin Kent, Austin Clark Kent, Jacob Scott Kent, Allison Hope Kent, Mitchell Douglas Kent and Ashley Nicole Kent, as well as, 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Peck Funeral Home, Hartselle, Alabama with Tim Taylor officiating with burial in the Shoal Creek Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Joshua Kent, Jacob Kent, Mitchell Kent, Steve Kent, Brant Stringer and Tony Tapscott will serve as her pallbearers.
