Obituary for Jean G. Rogers Utica – Jean G. Rogers, 96, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in the comfort of her home. Jean was born on August 28, 1921 in Utica, the daughter of Otto and Anna Louise Gross. She was a graduate of UFA and Faxton School of Nursing.

On November 26, 1947, Jean married Earl Rogers, a union of nearly 57 years prior to his death on October 12, 2004. Jean was a registered nurse with Faxton Hospital and later with Dr. Robert Knapp. Surviving is her son, Earl Rogers and his wife, Crandall, Missouri; grandchildren, Perry and Bailey and many nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Eric Sims and his wife, Patty.

In keeping with Jean’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The Roger’s family extends their gratitude to Kim Hajjar and Pam Cobane for the extaordinary care and compassion shown to Jean. Remembrances in Jean’s name may be made to the American Lung Association at www.
