Jean (Harrington)’s Obituary Newmarket – Jean (Harrington) Hayes, 72, of Gordon Ave. died suddenly March 28, 2019 at her residence. Born April 18, 1946, she was the daughter of Chester H. Harrington and Marjorie (Davis) McKinney.

Jean loved her spring time planting of flowers, cross stitching many doily’s for family members, word search books, spending time at the lake with family, her nap’s and back rub’s, she enjoyed oldies music and her old Milwaukee beer, she collected bird & cat figurines, and she kept a spotless home that always got her many complements for also having 7 children! She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Wayne T. Hayes who died in 2015 and sister Peggy Ramstrom who died in 2018. Survivors include her 7 children, Wayne D. Hayes of North Carolina, Michelle D. Gagnon of Connecticut, Deborah J. Hayes of North Carolina, Wanda Archambeault and her husband Edward of Exeter, Darcy Hayes of Colorado, John R. Hayes of New Hampshire, and Marjorie Hayes and her wife Tracy Hayes of Swanzey; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Kniffin of Vermont, Ronald Harrington of Rochester, Ann Burke and her husband Joe of Virginia, Carolyn Oyola of New Jersey; her brother-in-law Steven Ramstrom of Nottingham; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
