Jeanette June Smith, nee Rodgers, of Farmington, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Farmington at the age of 76 years. She was born June 6, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Andrew James Rogers and Thelma Geneva Callahan Rogers. Jeanette worked for several years as a CNA at Mercy Hospital in Festus.

In her past time, she enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, James Rodgers. She will be sadly missed by her one son, Robert Smith and wife Miranda of Farmington, MO; one daughter, Janet Smith of Doe Run, MO; and five grandchildren, Andrew (Jessica), Benjamin, Christopher, Scott and Randi.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Freeman Cemetery, Cherryville, MO with Chaplain Shirley Martka officiating. Committal prayer and interment will be in the Freeman Cemetery, Cherryville, MO. The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
