Jeanne Mae (Furney) Wolf March 21, 1924 – June 4, 2018 Jeanne Mae (Furney) Wolf, 94, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness. Jeanne was born on March 21, 1924 in Wauseon, OH to the late Harry Clement and Neva (Lee) Furney. Jeanne was a 1942 graduate from Wauseon High School.

She attended the Maumee Valley Nursing school and retired as a registered nurse from the Lehrer Clinic after 35 years. Jeanne… Read More » was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Sandusky and was a member of the choir at Good Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Zephyr Hills, FL, where she enjoyed spending her winters for over 25 years. Jeanne enjoyed sewing and working with materials, crafting and raising her grandchildren.

Jeanne is survived by husband of 72 years, Robert J. Wolf Sr., whom married on April 14, 1946. She is also survived by her daughter, Jill (William) Kramer of Castalia; sons, Robert J. “Jack” (Barbara) Jr. Wolf of Inverness, FL and Jim (Shelley) Wolf of Shepherdsville, KY; grandchildren, Anne Kramer, Heidi Kiliany, Peter Kramer, April Dawson, Benjamin, Andrew, Ashley, Joshua and Patrick Wolf; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Private family services will be held at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Dr. Rev. Eric Bodenstab of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
