Jeanne (Grable) Simpson, 87 of West Deer Township, died Friday October 26, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born November 15, 1930 in West Deer to the late Elimer R. and Myrtle (McLain) Grable and has lived in West Deer all of her life. She worked as a school bus driver for J-Mar Busing, then Laidlaw Bus Company for over 47 years.

She was a 1948 graduate of Hampton High School. She enjoyed her dogs and traveling to the camp with her husband. Survivors include her children Suzie Bertram of Portersville and Robert (Jeannine) Tupper of Koppel, her step-children William Simpson and Diane Erdelake both of Indiana Township and Elizabeth (James) Henry of Natrona Heights, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren, her good friends from Erie and Linesville as well has her Yorkie Jasmine.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Simpson on September 4, 2011 her sister Gladys Malloy and her brother William Grable Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer where services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 AM with the Rev. Joseph O’Malley officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
