Obituary for JEFF COPENHAVER COPENHAVER, Jeff, age 54, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties where he had been a patient for five days. He was born January 27, 1964 in Middletown and lived here all his life. He was employed at the Masonry Union out of Dayton for 36 years.

He also was a cement finisher for A. J. Stapleton Concrete and for himself. Jeff was a member of the Eagles Crystal Aerie of Middletown. He was an animal lover, a Cleveland Browns Fan and enjoyed playing horse shoes and cornhole.

Preceding him in death was his father, Allen Thomas “Pete” Copenhaver; and his mother, Jenny Carder Imlay. He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Frances Winkler; three step children, Rhonda (Joseph) Kuykendoll, Scottie Winkler and Josh Winkler; six step grandchildren; four sisters, Jeanna, Tammy, Melissa and Carrie; two brothers, Chad and Jessie; special cousin, Mike Carder; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. There will be a gathering for family and friends on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Walter Philpot officiating.
