Jennifer Lynn Calavitta, 50 of North Lawrence, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. Jen was born on March 5, 1968 in Medina, the daughter of Jerry and Irene (Easton) Smith. Jennifer was a 1986 graduate of Highland High School in Medina.

She had a love for animals, music and theater. Most of all she loved her family. Jennifer was a devoted Christian and member of Forty Corners Church of God in Massillon.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Smith. She is survived by her husband, Mike Calavitta whom she married on January 6, 1990; her sons, Andrew, Nicholas, and Samuel Calavitta; mother, Irene Smith; brother, Craig (Lynne) Smith; and sister, Robin (Donald) Laub. A Celebration of Jen’s life will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Forty Corners Church of God: 3474 Beaumont Avenue NW, Massillon, OH 44647.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11 – 1 p.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Massillon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Forty Corners Church of God. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.
