John H. Robertson, 61, lost his battle with cancer Monday, October 29, 2018. John was born on August 16, 1957 in Massillon, the son of James and Emily Robertson. He graduated from Washington High School in 1976.

He served in the U.S. Army and attended Kent State University. John loved good music, concerts, fishing, astronomy, the outdoors and his job as a crane operator. Known as “Johnnie Law”, he was employed through the Ohio Operating Engineers Local 18 for 25 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, James A. Robertson. He is survived by his mother Emily (Hose) Robertson, brothers Mark (Holly), Daniel (Jenny) and sister Cathy (Nick) Vidovich, 4 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 great nephews and 1 great niece. A private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.

A bench will be placed in John’s honor at the Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio for friends and family to visit in remembrance. To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of John Robertson, please visit our Tribute Store.
