OBITUARY Jerome Crowley March 17, 1924 – October 23, 2018 Crowley, Jerome ‘Pat’ – Age 94, of Canton, formerly of Scituate, passed away on October 23, 2018. Born in Scituate to Jerome and Margaret Crowley, Pat was the husband of the late Bonnie Crowley for 58 years before her passing in 2004. He graduated from Scituate High School in 1941 and joined the Navy in 1942 where he served in the South Pacific during World War II.

He met his future wife while stationed in Iceland. Pat began working for the International Union of Hoisting and Portable Engineers in 1951 and thoroughly enjoyed the many construction projects he worked on and the wonderful people he worked with until his retirement in 2015 at the age of 90. His hobbies included race cars, gardening, traveling, and winemaking.

He is survived by his loving family and friends. Beloved father of Jerome Crowley (Jean) of Scituate, Richard Crowley (Donna) of Jacksonville, FL, Nina Furnes (Ken) of Monroe, CT, Ed Crowley, (Pam) of Scituate and Tricia Read, (Cliff) of Wrentham, MA. Cherished grandfather to Dr. Jay, Christian, Diana (Brandon), Melissa (Bryan), Ricky (Julia), David, Sean, Gary, Kyle and Megan.

Adored Great Grandfather to Mia, Kaitlyn, Trace and Sam. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Peggy, Jane and Patricia, his dear friend Mary McHutcheon, his good friend John Scholl, and his late second wife Geri’s daughters Sharon, Janice, Justine and their families. A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2pm from Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate.

Interment will be private.
