OBITUARY Karen MacFarlane October 16, 1952 – October 19, 2018 Karen MacFarlane, formerly a long-time resident of Scituate, MA, passed away on October 19th, 2018 in Fort Myers, FL. Karen attended Fontbonne Academy in Milton and graduated from Boston State College. Karen was also the first female lector at St. Mary’s of the Nativity Church in Scituate.

Karen was the daughter of the late Charles MacFarlane and is survived by her mother Catherine; her brothers Charles (husband of Patricia) of Plymouth, and Michael (husband of Elizabeth) MacFarlane of Kingston; sister Tish (wife of Joseph) Campobasso of Ft. Myers, FL; her aunt, Sister Mary Ellen Walsh of Alleghany, NY; and her uncle, Joseph MacFarlane of Barnstable, MA. Karen also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, SCITUATE, on Saturday October 27th at 8:30 a.m., to be followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
