Jerónimo was born on July 20, 1959 in Tacana, San Marcos, Guatemala, to Trinidad Lopez of Guatemala and the late Rodrigo Morales.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by nine children, Mario Antonio Morales Diaz, Dario Morales Diaz and wife Marina, Debora Morales Diaz and husband Isaias, Melvin Morales Diaz, Johnny Morales Diaz, Erufema Morales Diaz, Azucena Carolina Morales Diaz, Abey Morales Diaz, and Luis Morales Diaz; six sisters, Enecona, Enriquta, Agustina, Julia, Ermelinda, and Tiofila; three brothers, Epifonio, Herberto, Donaldo, nine grandchildren, Jose Luis, Yerardy, Genesis, Mairin, Dalili, Anderson, Mariana, Lucero, and Abby; nephew, Jose Morales Morales; and many other extended family members. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams Funeral Home, in Parksley, Virginia, on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Interment will be held Guatemala.
