Obituary for Mr. Jerry A. Slade Jerry Alonzo Slade was born on January 11, 1951, in Orlando, Florida to Mary Slade and Hayward Fudge. He was a June 1968, graduate from Charles R. Drew High School in Winter Garden, Florida. Jerry was an avid sports fan of basketball, football, baseball and tennis.

On Thursday, June 7, 2018, Jerry’s earthly journey came to an end as he transitioned from life to death. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mary Slade and Hayward Fudge and sister: Faye Tillman.

Jerry leaves precious memories to cherish: children: Antonio L. Slade (Pamela), Fredrick D. Slade (Lawanda), Brian K. Slade, Sheketa L. Slade, all of Orlando, FL; and Kimberly C. Douglas, Atlanta, GA; brother: Gary Tillman, Orlando, FL; step-brother: Ross Tillman, Orlando, FL; grandchildren: Renee Wallace, Jeffery Wallace, Tiffany Wallace Norwood, Fredrick Slade, Jr. Deion Slade, Keyshawn Slade, Kordell Wilson, Kaleb Slade; great grandchildren: Joshua Vanens, Jalen Vanens, Zaveon Slade, Ty’Asia Stevenson, Deion Slade, Jr., Jeffery Wallace, Jr., Josh Wallace, Nate Wallace, Kayaan Norwood, Ameer Norwood, Mariah Slade; aunt: Marion Tillman; five nieces, cousins a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
