Obituary for Jerry Glenn Farris Sr Jerry “Glenn” Farris Sr. of Morris, AL. passed away at the age of 69 on Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Birmingham, AL. Glenn was born April 16, 1949 in Birmingham, AL to Charles and Lillian Copeland Farris.

He married his wife, Delores Diane Farris of Gardendale, AL on June 6, 1970. He spent the majority of his working life as a welder for Miller Wire Works in Irondale, AL. Glenn is survived by his wife, Diane; his brother, Ronnie (Kay) Farris; his sister, Linda (Mike) White; his two sons, Jerry Glenn Farris Jr. and Brian Keith (Caroline) Farris; three grandchildren, Charlie, Ruthie and Joseph Farris as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lillian Farris. A viewing for family and friends, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the funeral, September 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. will be held at The New Gardendale Funeral Home located at 2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071. Graveside service and burial will be at Fairview West Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery located at 1172 County Road 566, Hanceville, AL 35077.
