OBITUARY Ann K. Driver February 12, 1927 – September 2, 2018 Ann K. Driver, age 91 of Gardendale, AL passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 with her family and caregivers by her side. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was a member of Gardendale’s First Baptist Church and was retired from Jefferson County Board of Education with 20 years of service.

Mrs. Driver was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Lawrence Edwin Driver; parents, Claude and Louise Kornegay; brothers, Billy Kornegay and Willard Kornegay. She is survived by her two sons, Phil Driver and his wife, Kay of Huntsville, AL and Bruce Driver and his wife, Sandra of Gardendale; a grandson, Kyle Driver and his fiancée`, Shannon; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to service time.

Interment will follow in Moncrief Cemetery with Rev. Mark Harrison officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses of SouthEast Hospice, Mila, Elaine, Sherry, and Leslie; also, her caregivers, Susie, Shania, Pam, Belinda, Roseann, Christy, and Johnnie for all their loving care.
