OBITUARY Michael “Mike” Dale Moore July 25, 1953 – October 17, 2018 Michael Dale “Mike” Moore, age 65 of Warrior, AL passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He served as Treasurer of the Gardendale Civitan Club where he was known as the “King” of the Claxton Fruit Cake sales.

Mike graduated from Gardendale High School in 1971 and was retired from the City of Birmingham with over 32 years of service. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Gardendale and had attended Unity Baptist until his illness. Mike enjoyed collecting coins, selling on Ebay, but most of all he loved spending time with all his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn D. “Snooks” and Zona Ruth Moore. Mike is survived by his wife of 44 years, Julie B. Moore; a son, Chris Moore (Denise); his daughter, Janna Moore; brother, Tim Moore; grandchildren, Samantha Maske (Jared), Ward Banks (Britani), and Sid Burge; great grandchildren, Remington Michael Madison Maske, Colton Banks, and Paisley Banks. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6 to 8 PM followed by chapel services on Monday, October 22nd beginning at 11 AM.

Interment will be held in Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, AL. Services will be officiated by Rev Arnold Kilgore.
