Obituary for Ronnie Joe Henderson Ronnie Henderson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at age 64. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rebecca “Becky” Henderson; three children, Shane (Holly) Henderson, Jason (Jessica) Henderson, and Stacey Mills; five grandchildren, Ryan Henderson, Drew Henderson, Brooklyn Mills, Nicholas Mills, and Gabrielle; two brothers, Jerry (Eileen) Henderson and Danny (Patty) Henderson; mother-in-law, Ruth Johns; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Henderson, Vellie Henderson White and Claude White; one brother, Jimmy Henderson and one sister, Debbie Lovelady.

He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. He spent many years coaching children and still to this day was called “Coach” by many. Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ronnie Joe Henderson please visit our Sympathy Store.
