Jerry “Jay” W. Perkins, Jr, age 44, of Genoa City, Wisconsin passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his home. Jay was born July 9, 1974 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Jerry and Janet (Darwood) Perkins. On July 12, 1997 he married Darleen Erickson in Johnsburg.

His presence was never unnoticed and the absence of it will never go away. Today is a day where we will laugh and cry with each other, tomorrow will be a day where we hold our hands together in a grief-stricken attempt at acceptance. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Darleen; sons, Anthony (Margaret) Erickson, Jaydon, John, Jesse, and Joseph’ grandchildren, Reid, Camille Erickson; brothers, John (Kim) Perkins, Jeffery (Stephanie) Perkins; sister, Jennifer Perkins; parents in-law, Victor (Paulette) Mennella; and many aunt, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, brother, James; maternal grandfather, Richard Darwood. Memorials to the family would be greatly appreciate. A Celebration of Life gathering is currently pending.
