Obituary for Jerry Lamorris Peoples Jerry Lamorris Peoples, 74, of Parker St., departed this life Friday, April 6, 2018 at Brian Center Nursing Care. The funeral service will be Saturday at Ezekiel AME Zion Church at 5:00pm. Burial will be Monday at 10:00am at Salisbury National Cemetery.

He was born January 28, 1944 in Davidson County to Virginia Ann Peoples Kindle. He retired from Dixie Furniture (Lexington Home Brands). Jerry was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Bernice L. Peoples; three sisters: Clara Mae Smith, Linda Dickerson and Patricia Ramseur and two brothers, Victor Kennel and Harold Peoples.

He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Katrina (James) Clodfelter; a grandson; two brothers, Avon (Gwen) Kindle and Grayland (Lorene) Kennel; two sisters, Sandra Sloan and Louise Hairston; two special friends, Charles K.
