Jerry Lee Banks, Jr., 53, of Asheville, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the John F. Keever, Jr., Solace Center in Asheville. Born on March 8, 1965 in Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Jerry Lee and Virginia Miller Banks. He was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds H.S. class of 1972, and was employed for over 15 years with XPO Logistics formerly known as Con-Way Freight.

Surviving are his partner of 24 years, Anna Smart; brothers, Paul Banks of Asheville and Joey Banks and his spouse, Tracy, of Marion; nephew, Blake Banks; and niece, Brandi Banks. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
