Obituary for Miss Diane Carol Overby Diane C. Overby, 59, of Gastonia, NC, died May 21, 2018. She was born to James R. “Bob” and Bettye J. Overby in Newport News, VA. She was a 1978 high school graduate of the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind in Staunton, VA.

She moved to Asheville, NC in 1986. She is survived by her sister, Susan DeVincentis (Joseph G. Jr.) of Charlottesville, VA and her nephew, James DeVincentis of Irving, TX, along with extended family in Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Graveside service to be held on May 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, Georgia with interment to follow.
