Orville Louis “Brock” Brockman, age 95, of Fredericksburg, VA (formerly of Long Island, NY and Concordia MO), went to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 17th, 2018. Preceding him in death were his parents, Louis and Catherine (Boesch) Brockman and 2 brothers, Juliel and Kenneth. He is survived by his beloved wife Margaret, his daughter Patricia Burke, and son Glenn Brockman (Patti).

Brock also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, David Burke (Antoinette), Donna Anzalone (Victor), Glenn Brockman, Jr., 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving him are 3 step-children: Donna Cannone (Joseph), Daniel Coyle (Joy) and Michael Coyle (Shira) and 9 step-grandchildren and 1 step great-grandson. Brock was a civilian Navigator and Communicator in the Air Force, worked for T.W.A and then worked for the F.A.A. in Washington, D.C. for the remainder of his career.

He enjoyed gardening, singing and playing BINGO! He loved his Lord, his family, and friends, good food, being an active life-long member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, but he especially loved his beautiful wife! A brief graveside service will be held at Roberts Memorial Park in Arden, NC on Monday, May 21, 2018, to be followed by a memorial service on Long Island this summer 2018, date, time and location to be announced.

Brock’s gentle, kind and humble manner will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
