Jerry Michael Person, 64, of Searcy, passed away July 25, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born December 22, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Jerry Franklin and Allada Dean Person. Mr. Person graduated from Searcy High School and attended University of Arkansas.

He owned and operated White County Metal Works in Searcy along with his late father and mother for many years. He is survived by two sons, Michael Person (Casie) of Searcy and Jay Ben Person (Stacy) also of Searcy; one daughter, Jamie Chrzanowski (Dan) of Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren, Brianna, Dillon, Jocelyn, Cole, Kenzie, and Oliver; one sister, Cheryl Person of Norman, Oklahoma; as well as many friends and extended family. Mr. Person will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service 6-9 pm Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Searcy Masonic Lodge.

Lasting memorials may be made to Arkansas Sheriff’s Youth Ranch in Batesville.
