Jerry Morris Palmer, 71, of Charlestown passed away on Friday September 21 at his residence. He was born on July 16, 1947 in Dayton, OH. Jerry was a retired US Army Veteran and a retired security guard at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.

He is survived by his wife Diane Weaks Palmer, a step-daughter Karen Adams of North Carolina, and a step-son Wally Kennon of Cookeville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Jason Palmer. Masonic services will be held on Wednesday September 26, 2018 at 4:00pm at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN with military honors to follow.
