Obituary of Jerry Latham, Sr. Star – Jerry Bester Latham, Sr., age 75, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Mr. Latham was born in Randolph County on November 22, 1943, to Wilson Eames Latham, Sr. and Shaye Ardena Luther Latham. He was a retired logger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Billie Joe Latham, and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by one daughter, Mollie Clark of Troy; two sons, Terry L. Latham and wife, Sherry, of Asheboro, and Jerry B. “J.J.” Latham, Jr. and wife, Kay, of Star; one sister, Sandra Lucas of Asheboro; six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home in Star.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 8, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, 7811 Pisgah Covered Bridge Rd. , Asheboro.
