Mr. Jimmy Binion, age 74 of Franklin, KY, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 5:15 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2018 with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. Jimmy was born in Simpson Co., KY February 5, 1944 to the late Leslie Cordell Binion and Jewell Wilburn Binion.

His siblings, Evelyn Burysek, Bessie Combs, and Leslie Edward Binion preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Linda Binion of Franklin, KY, 2 children, son Jimmy Allen Binion and his wife Christy of Franklin, KY, son Kevin Binion of Franklin, KY, 4 siblings, Donnie Binion of Indianapolis, IN, Wanda Allen of Franklin, KY, Ruby Binion of Portland, TN, Polly Wheat of Franklin, KY, 6 grandchildren, Jammy Raines, Derek Binion, Jenna Binion, Andreea Woods, Breana Mittelstrossen, Zoe Binion, 4 great grandchildren, Ethan Raines, Landen Raines, Karsyn Raines, and Nova Smith. Jimmy worked for Kendall, Sealed Power, and was owner of Jim’s Bar-B-Q, and was a member of El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, October 15, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.
