Obituary for Jimson Nelson Jimson Nelson, a resident of Sulphur was born July 14, 1939 in Hickory, Oklahoma to Nolen & Stella Mae (Parnacher) Nelson. He passed away Sunday June 24, 2018 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years11 months and 10 days. He grew up in the Sulphur area, where he graduated from Sulphur High School.

He worked as journeyman doing electrical work for different heat and air companies. He was married to Wilma Brown who preceded him in death. He later married Jo Bumgarner on July 14, 1996 in Sulphur.

He was preceded in death by his parents a sister: Nolena Mae Lewis and a brother. Survived by his wife: Jo Nelson, of Sulphur, OK 2 daughters: Pamela Nelson, of Sulphur, OK Angela Nelson, of Harlan, MT Son: Michael Nelson, of Sulphur, OK 2 Step-daughters: Rachel Toman, of Justin,TX; Rebecca Purvis, of San Antonio, TX; 1 Sister: Oretha Hilton, of Tuttle, OK Numerous step grandchildren & step great grandchildren & 1 great great granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Levi Burton, Dennis Underwood, Nelson Wisdom, and Shannon Underwood, Dan Toman, Ray Meely.

Honorary Bearer: Gene Underwood, Michael Burton, Ray Purvis, Jordan Allen. Services will be held Wednesday June 27, 2018 at 10:00AM at Memorial Free Will Baptist Church officiated by Rev Randy Chapman. Burial will be at Hickory Hill Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home Family will receive visitors Tuesday June 26, from 6pm to 8pm at the DeArman Funeral Home online condolences may be sent to www.
