Obituary for Royce Smith Royce Smith of Stratford, Oklahoma was born September 5, 1935 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Charley and Irene (Holland) Smith. He passed away in the Artesian Nursing Center Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years 9 months and 25 days. Royce graduated from Stratford High School in 1955.

He married Betty Barton on October 29, 1954 in Sulphur. They made their home on a farm north of Stratford, where he and his brothers ran Smith Brothers Farms. He was a member of the Baptist Faith.

Preceded by; his parents Charley and Irene Smith, one grand-daughter Cassie Wood, two brothers; Jerry and Charles Smith, and one sister Bobbie Key. Survived by; two daughters; Sharon Redus & husband Tom of Stratford; Royceann Rumsey & husband Keith of Eufaula, OK. ; Special Friend & Partner; Francis Diacon of Sulphur, OK.

; three grandchildren Josh Wood & wife Tricia, Shanna Lovelace & husband Chad, Chris Rumsey & wife Jesica; step-grandchildren Leanna Mendoza, and Brady Redus; two sisters; Mona Watts of Stratford, OK. , Margreat Washman of Pauls Valley, OK. , one brother Ed Smith of Moore, OK.

Visitation; will be Monday July 2, 2018 at DeArman/Pickard Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Services; 10:00 AM Tuesday July 3, 2018 at DeArman/Pickard Chapel. Officiating; Rev.
