Obituary for Joey Walker Joey Walker, a resident of Sulphur was born June 10, 1971 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Leroy D. Walker and Karen (Merrell) Walker. He passed away Monday September 24, 2018 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 47 years 3 months and 14 days. Joey grew up in the Sulphur area, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1989.

He later worked in the construction business and also served in the Oklahoma National Guard. Joey and Cheryl Luna were married on July 15, 1994 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Left to carry his memory is his wife Cheryl Walker of the home; his children; Chelsea Woods of Sulphur, Ok, Tristen Walker of Sulphur, Ok, Ashlee Walker of Sulphur, Ok, Dylan Walker of Sulphur, Ok; his mother; Karen Walker of Sulphur, Ok; his father; Leroy Walker of Tuttle, Ok; twin sister; Annette Walker of Ada, Ok; brother Stephen Walker of Sulphur, Ok; grandson; Blaise Woods; nephew; Kaleb Walker; niece; Harlee Walker.

Joey is preceded in death by his grandfather; Bobby Merrell and grandmother; Lillie Belle Spurgeon. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday September 26, 2018 at the Chapel of Crossway Baptist Church.
