Obituary for Priscilla Hembree Priscilla Hembree, a resident of Sulphur was born October 26, 1935 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Buck & Goldie (Bulla) Barton. She passed away Friday June 8, 2018 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years 7 months and 12 days. She grew up in Suphur, graduated from Sulphur High School.

Priscilla married the love of her life, Bill Monjay and they soon moved to Okla. City. Bill & Priscilla raised three daughters in Okla.

City, returning to Sulphur in 1993. After Bill’s death in July of 1994, Priscilla was blessed with another wonderful life partner when she married Johnny Hembree of Sulphur on May 6, 2000. Priscilla’s love and kindness to her family and her devotion and love for all animals is a tribute to the beauty of her heart and soul; her influence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Bill Monjay and Johnny Hembree, her parents Buck & Goldie Barton, brothers Kent Barton and Junior Barton. Survived by her Daughters: Vickie G. Monjay, of Sulphur, OK Kay Piper & Greg, of Edmond, OK Carol Allmon & Joe, of Sulphur, OK Step Daughters: Sherry Hembree, of Kansas Debbie Green, of Davis, OK Sister: Betty Smith, of Stratford, OK Grandchildren: Micha Penry, Misty McClure, Jerimiah Strickler, Bill Lessing, Tony Hall, Justin Piper, Chad Piper. 11 darling great grandchildren in which she delighted Services will be held Thursday June 14, 2018 at Midway Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev.

Willard McCartney, Jr.. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home The family wishes to extend our deepest thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Cross Timbers Hospice of Davis, OK for their loving care and sweet acts of kindness shown during our mother’s illness; we love you and will forever be indebted to you. We claim the blessed hope that to those who die in Christ, death is only sleep, so to our mother/grandmother we say, “Good night Momma”, “Good night Nanny”.
