Obituary for Jo Robinson Jo Ann (Ware) Robinson, 69 of Ireland, WV Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the mourning of Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the comfort of her home. She was born on August 28, 1948 in Green Hill, WV. She is the daughter of the late Raymond Ware and Reta (Boggs) Ware.
On May 7, 1966 she married her late husband Jimmie C. Robinson and they sent 51 years Together. In addition to her parents and husband also preceding her in death sister Mill and adoptive brother Jumbo. Jo Ann leaves behind her family, close friends, and those of her Church whom she loved dearly and will that will miss her so much.
She is survived by sons Jimmie J. Robinson (Becca) of Weirton, WV, Mark Allen Robinson (Genifer) of Ireland, WV, Dillon Robinson of Ireland, WV. Grandchildren Samantha Kerr (Kegan), Logan and companion (Kiana), Chelsea (Danny Sartin), Noah, and Macaiah, three great-grandchildren Ally, Gannon, Haven, Hunter, and Jayce. Also surviving are sister Carol (Dewey) of Falls Mills, WV and brother “Doc” of Skin Creek, WV.
Joann attended Victory Apostolic Church in Braxton County where she almost always was always there on Sunday. She grew extremely close to those of her Church including Pastor Jason Allen and family and her longtime friend Linda Allen who will miss her dearly. She worked for the United Postal Service in Ireland, WV where she later retired and soon started fostering children for several years.
She was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake, Crouching , sewing, going out in her garden for hours at a time, sitting on her front porch watching the birds come and go, watching cooking shows and Gospel sings late in the evening before bed. She helped to raise her grandchildren, especially her granddaughters who will miss her more than words can explain. If you were to ask her family and friends she made the best home cooked meals and always had the best holiday dinners.
She was always a great guided and taught everyone about her Lord. She enjoyed spending time with her especially her babies Ally and Gannon who will live on through the wonderful memories of their Mamma Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Falls Mill Cemetery for a Graveside service with Pastor Jason Allen officiating. Interment will follow graveside services.
