Obituary for Kenneth L. Hacker Kenneth “Kenny” Lane Hacker, 72, of Brush Camp Road, Exchange, WV passed away November 6, 2018. He was born August 5, 1946, Sutton WV son of the late Arthur Hacker and Thelma (Burke) Hacker. Also preceding him in death was father-in-law Edgar Fincham, and brothers, Ralph, Lanta and Vance Hacker.

He is survived by mother in law Mae Fincham of Exchange, WV and wife, and the love of his life Barbara Fincham Hacker whom he married on October 2, 1967 and spent 57 years together. Also surviving are sons Preston Lane Hacker and wife Anna of Fairmont, WV, Shawn and wife Ashley Hacker and children Alice Hacker and Ivan Hacker of Exchange, WV, Ryan Hacker and wife Chelsey of Exchange, WV; daughters, Loretta Alice Thayer and husband Allen and children Robert, Lilly and Samantha of Fayetteville, NC, Alice Hacker of Exchange, WV; brothers, Gene Hacker and wife Midge of Exchange, WV, Darrell Hacker and wife Peggy of Creston, WV, Roger Hacker of Exchange, WV, Tom Hacker and wife Vada of Exchange, WV, Zendle Hacker and wife Vickie of Exchange, WV, Ronnie Hacker and wife April of Weston, WV; sisters, Reva Evans and husband Bob of Sutton, WV, Barb Cogar and husband Edward “Cub” of Palestine, WV, Laura “Cat” Boggs and husband Gary of Exchange, WV, Thelma “Chub” and husband Jerry of Exchange, WV; grandchildren, Gabe, Dean and Marcus Hacker, Joe Richards, Shane Hacker and wife Amber. Also surviving are many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kenny worked for the United States Postal Service and carried the mail from Sutton to Cedarville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and would drive all night from Ohio just to be able to hunt with his brothers. Above all, he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family at 863 Brush Camp Road, Exchange, WV 26619. Family will receive friends at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Flatwoods Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 11-1 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Funeral Services will follow visitation at 1 p.m. in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Delmas Singleton officiating.
