Obituary for Sallie (Green) Patricia Blanks Sallie Patricia (Green) Blanks, 72, of Gassaway, WV passed away October 22, 2018. She was born February 24, 1946 at Warrenton, VA to the late James Barbee and Sally Moore. She was married to Fred Samuel Blanks for fifty-six years and is still united with him in death.

Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Sandy Blanks who passed away in 1981. Surviving is daughter, Teresa Acree, Shawboro, NC and a brother, James Michael (Pam) Green, Culpeper, VA. Sallie was an avid horse lover and won many trophies and ribbons over the years.

She even had the opportunity and was able to ride with Jackie Kennedy. She was a competitive judge and participated in many trail rides. She was an immaculate homemaker who was always working inside or outside doing whatever needed to be done, whether it be weed eating, mowing or tending to her horses.
