OBITUARY Jo-Anne Baccielo November 15, 1949 – October 24, 2018 Jo-Anne Baccielo, 68, a resident of Wethersfield, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Born in Hartford on November 15, 1949, she was the daughter of the late James and Josephine (Francolina) Baccielo. She graduated from Weaver High School in 1967, received her Bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College and her Master’s in Social Work from UCONN.

She was a senior counselor for the State of CT Department of Rehabilitation Services. Jo-Anne loved music and reading, she spent endless hours at the library. She enjoyed singing in college and was a member of several choral groups.

An avid traveler, she visited China, Amsterdam, Italy and many other places. A loving sister, aunt and great-aunt, Jo-Anne will be forever missed by her sister, Teresa O’Neil and husband Thomas of Wethersfield; niece, Carrie Hill and husband Colin and their children Nolan and Brandon, all of Wethersfield and her nephew, Brett O’Neil and girlfriend Brigid O’Loughlin of Rocky Hill. Special thanks to the staff at Maple View Manor in Rocky Hill for the care and compassion shown to Jo-Anne during her stay.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (October 26) at 9 a.m. at Christ the King Parish (Sacred Heart Church), 56 Hartford Ave. , Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church.

Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield. Family and friends may call TODAY from 5-7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. , Wethersfield.
